True to its name, a ghostly mist always hangs in the air about this large lake, be it Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter. The edge of the lake is shallow, but a few meters into the water, there is a drop off, where the water turns a deep navy, there is no bottom visible, it seems endlessly deep. During Winter, the lake freezes over completely, and is safe to walk on in most places, but be wary in the center of the lake, for the ice is always thin here.
